What can I make with the Cheevo Frame Wall Planner

22 Oct 2026
What can I make with the Cheevo Frame Wall Planner

Every collection can go on the wall more than one way, and the Frame Wall Planner lets you see each version before you choose. And for full transparency, these have all been created in the planner with no other editing.

Below are a few walls we've put together in the planner, each with an alternative layout for the same collection. Use them as a starting point, then swap in your own covers and your own room.

A trilogy you finished

Halo, Halo 2 and Halo 3. Some series deserve to be kept together, and there are two good ways to do it.

Three frames, side by side

Each game gets its own Xbox Game Frame, with the cover and disc showing. At 27 × 27 cm each with a 5 cm gap, the row runs about 91 cm across. It gives every game its own space, and you can always add a fourth when the next one earns its place.

One Snaplate Triple

All three on a single 60 × 40 cm board, covers along the bottom and discs above. It's a tighter, bolder piece that reads as one thing on the wall, which suits a set you think of as one story.

The same idea works for any run of games you grew up with, whether that's a trilogy or the three you'd save first in a fire.

A shelf's worth of steelbooks

Steelbooks are made to be looked at, so it seems a shame to keep them spine out. With the Steelbook Magnetic Mount, the case itself is the display. The mount sits hidden behind it and the artwork covers the whole space.

Five in a row

Five mounts side by side, each 13.5 × 19 cm with a 5 cm gap, come to about 88 cm wide. Lined up at eye level it looks like a gallery strip, and it fits nicely above a desk or sideboard.

Three over two

If wall width is tight, try three on top and two centred underneath. That brings it down to around 50 cm wide and gives you a shape that's easy to grow into later.

The chase cards you finally pulled

Your top graded Pokémon cards probably took more late nights than you'd like to admit. They've earned better than a drawer.

Your top three, one frame each

Five Graded Card Frames, each 21 × 30 cm. Each card gets its own personalised plaque, so you can note the story behind each pull. It's the version for a wall where the cards are the main event.

Your top three, in one frame

The Graded Card Frame Triple holds three slabs side by side in a single 40 × 30 cm frame. It's compact enough for a shelf wall or the space beside a monitor, and it keeps your best three together as a set.

Add a photo of the front of each slab in the planner and you'll see your actual cards on the wall, grade labels and all.

A few more walls to try

The albums that soundtracked you

A run of CD Frames, each showing the artwork and the disc, works well in a grid. A row of three at 27 cm each makes a neat block around 91 cm wide and 29 cm tall.

A comic run

Comic Frames are 30 × 40 cm, so a row of three issues comes to about 100 cm. Hang them in order and the wall tells the story arc for you.

One franchise, mixed formats

Put the game and the film side by side. A PlayStation Game Frame on one side and a Movie Frame on the other, with a Snaplate Single between them for the special edition, makes a centrepiece that's clearly yours.

Now picture yours

These are only a handful of the walls you could build. The best one is probably the collection already sitting on your shelf, the battered copies included.

Open the Frame Wall Planner and try a couple of layouts side by side. It only takes a few minutes to see which one feels right.

Every wall shown in this article was built in the Frame Wall Planner, with no other editing. What you see here is what you can make yourself.
